Supporting Artisans and Ethical Practices

At my shop, I take pride in offering a collection of ethically produced handbags and textiles that celebrate the native and indigenous cultures of our world.

As someone who lived in Mexico as a child, the vibrant colors and beliefs of our indigenous cultures inspired me to travel the world and discover the beauty of other cultures. It was my own journey and later education in international development that cemented my belief in the importance of purchasing from small businesses and fair trade shops.

Weaving the Future Together

I am committed to sourcing our products from small businesses and cooperatives that are run by or support the under-resourced communities they serve. You can find the name of the original vendor in the description of each product, so you know exactly where your purchase is coming from.

Commitment to Sustainability

In gratitude for your support, I've partnered with Ecologi to plant a tree with every order. If you'd like to see the impact we're making together, you can check out the progress on my Ecologi page. You can see how many trees I've planted and the carbon emissions offset.

Thank you for supporting our mission to promote sustainable and ethical practices while preserving the beauty of our global cultures. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact us at gila@gratitudeandjoy.com.

With gratitude and joy,

Gila Aispuro
